Birchwood Construction Begins August 26

Crews with Davis H. Elliot Company will be in Georgetown on Monday, August 26, to begin construction of the Birchwood Fiber Project.  During the next several months, fiber will be installed in the phase one area, which includes the following locations:

Highway 60 - from Highway 58 to Johnson Road

Highway 58 - from Highway 60 to ¼ mile from Gamble Road

B&K Ranch Road

Silo Lane

Anderson Acres Drive

Sam Smith Road

Pierce Road – from Sam Smith Road to the end of the circuit

Mungers Pond Lane

Roark Trail Circle

The contractor will have two (3) men crews utilizing pickups, bucket trucks, and 4-wheelers / rangers. You may see these crews in your neighborhood.  If so, please do not disturb their work.  If you have questions about the project, please direct those to VEC.
